Set on an island in the Stockholm archipelago this property was inspired by the classic Swedish ‘turn of the century’ era.
Having previously lived in a much smaller property on the plot, our client envisioned a bright, welcoming and practical villa set across two floors. The glass veranda with almost full-height windows was a must and made the whole kitchen-dining area light and accessible.
Another key factor to create the clean and organised interior that our client wanted was storage so we designed bespoke joinery to hang coats in the lobby, a dressing room in the master suite and a utility room in the center of the home.
