THE OLD STABLE

Once an old stable this Stockholm apartment was successfully converted into a contemporary home to meet the needs of a young family.

Inspired by the ceiling height and our client’s love for books we created the bespoke floor to ceiling bookcase in the sitting room with an integrated ladder. We also incorporated a cosy and fun play room for children in form of a mezzanine and the rounded staircase leading up doubled as a bookcase.

The result became a family-friendly home that felt happy and relaxed.
